Dr. Jorge Faiges

Jorge Faiges was born in Tortosa, Spain, in 1996. He obtained his bachelor's degree with honors in 2018. In 2019, he pursued a master's degree in Synthesis, Catalysis, and Molecular Design at URV, where he worked under the supervision of Professors Montserrat Diéguez and Oscar Pàmies. He continued his research in the same group and earned his PhD in 2024, focusing on the development of new catalyst libraries for asymmetric hydrogenation and Pd allylic transformations, both in batch and continuous flow. As a post-doctoral researcher, he is focused on the development of new and more sustainable catalytic systems for performing asymmetric transformations in continuous flow using supported catalysts.
