David Domingo Huguet was born in Lleida, Catalonia, in 1999. In 2021, he obtained the B.Sc. in Chemistry at the Rovira i Virigili University during which he completed a research project on development of hybrid organo-silica particles containing ester-based moieties for its application as chemical sunscreens with Dr. Isabel Vicente Valverde at Eurecat Technological Centre, Tarragona. In September 2021, he has initiated his Master in "Synthesis, Catalysis and Molecular Design" at the Rovira i Virgili University studying the modification of polymeric membranes with different Ionic Liquids as membranes for direct CO₂ capture, being part of the European Project SunCoChem, under the supervision of Dr. Adrianna Nogalska at Eurecat Technological Centre, Tarragona. In October 2022, he joined the group of Cyril Godard as a PhD student in collaboration with Eurecat Tarragona working on the development of non-noble metal electrocatalysts for electrochemical H₂ production.
