Gonzalo completed his undergraduate degree in Alicante in 2022. After a year of work, he enrolled in the Master's program in Chemistry and Sustainable Development at the University of Oviedo. Upon finishing, he joined the Selective Organic Synthesis Group in the Department of Organic Chemistry at the University of Oviedo through the INVESTIGO program, where he carried out research for a year. He later began his PhD in the Innovation in Catalysis Group at Rovira i Virgili University under the Martí i Franquès Fellowship Program.
